Strategy Director, Soshal

JP Rains is the vice president of Strategy at Soshal, where his primary function is to solve problems in the digital space for clients with a focus on higher education. Earning his M.B.A. at Laurentian University, he brings a business background with a passion for marketing. Through five years at Laurentian University as a recruiter, marketer, and finally as the head of the Digital Strategy department, he oversaw multiple web redesigns, social media strategy, and content generation. His experiences include success stories with nearly all facets of the university, from collaborating with IT to contributing to two seasons of twenty percent growth in university applications. Since then, he's been a partner to the higher education industry in North America, raising the collective digital IQ of institutions. He is also the board chair for Canada's PSEWEB, which is inspired by HighEdWeb.
